Ski Superval  


This Pleasant village, down in the valley below Saas-Fee, but still at over 5000 feet, has its own lovely sunny slopes (35 km), the upper part being on a glacier. At Kreuzboden (2400m) there are lifts for the beginner as well as for the intermediate to advanced. From the summit (3200m) there is a wonderful view of 18 4000m peaks. The ski bus, free for those with the combined pass, travels on average every 15 minutes up to Saas-Fee until mid morning, then hourly. It returns to Saas Grund hourly then very frequently from mid afternoon until 5.45pm, the latest free bus leaving Saas- Fee at 6.45pm, and last paying one at 7.45pm.

Activities apart from skiing include skating on a natural and an artificial rink, tobogganing on an 11km run and hiking on beautiful trails.

Welcoming, unpretentious hotel, 500 yards from village centre. Rooms with shower, wc, balcony etc. Dining room with bar area. Very suitable for school and student parties as well as those seeking simplicity at an excellent price. Free parking near hotel. Kreuzboden cable car a 3 minute walk.

Centrally located hotel with lovely views, immediately by the gondola lift and bus stop. Also only 100 yards from the artificial ice rink and cross-country skiing circuit. Bedrooms have been newly decorated and have shower, wc, T.V. etc. Some with balcony. Cosy restaurant with bar and sitting area. Also an après-ski bar and sunny terrace. 4 course evening meals.
